Terms of use and sale

These terms are a draft. They will be reviewed by legal counsel before Cadenforge opens to the public.

1. Who we are

Cadenforge is operated by CadenForge Europe, SASU, Halle de l'Innovation, 10 place Françoise Héritier, ZAC Cambacérès, 34000 Montpellier, France. Its details are in the legal notice.

2. The service

Cadenforge develops custom applications for its clients. AI agents coordinated by the platform write the code, its tests and its documentation. You decide what the application must do, answer the questions the project raises and review the result in your workspace.

3. Access

Cadenforge is in private beta. Access is granted on request, once we have confirmed that your project fits the scope we can take on. Public account creation is closed.

You keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for the people you invite into your organization and for what they do in it.

4. Scope and price

Every project starts with scoping. It produces the list of what will be built and the tier that list requires. The price applies to that agreed list, and you know it before you pay. Current tiers and prices are on the pricing page.

Adding something to the list calls for a new review of the scope and the price. The change enters the project once you have agreed to it.

Cadenforge sells to professionals only. Before paying, you sign your project's build contract on the platform: 40 % of the package price is paid by bank transfer upon signing, 40 % of the difference upon signing the amendment of an upgrade, and the balance before the code is handed over or the product goes online. A deposit is not refunded once the build it pays for has started.

5. Running costs

Hosting, domain names, email delivery, payment processing and other third-party services can carry recurring fees. They are not included in the price unless agreed in writing.

6. What you provide

You provide the information, files and decisions your project needs, and you confirm that you have the right to use them. You must not use Cadenforge to store unlawful content or to build software with an unlawful purpose.

7. Who owns the result

The source code, tests and documentation developed for your project are handed over to you as an archive to download. Their rights are assigned to you once the balance is paid in full, so that another team can continue the work; until then CadenForge Europe keeps them. Generic components reused across projects remain CadenForge Europe's, and you receive a licence to use them within your product. CadenForge Europe keeps the Cadenforge platform, its tools and its methods.

8. Checking before use

The work is produced by AI agents and goes through automated checks. You review and try what is delivered before using it in production. The service is provided as is.

9. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time. Closing it stays reversible for 30 days, after which your data is permanently erased, as described in the privacy policy.
